PNG coffees are wet-processed, with distinct fruited, bright flavor profile. Much of the coffee is produced from old varieties like Bourbon-types, and the processing method was brought from Tanzania, with old British McKinnon disc pulpers and (sometimes still) a double fermentation treatment.
