Most of the coffee available for sale today is of the Arabica variety, which was "born" through a spontaneous hybridization of Coffea Canephora and Coffea Eugenioides. This bandana has an illustration of the Eugenioides plant, the Liberica plant, and the coffee plant variety Bullatta, which is one of many coffee types that has been collected for research and breeding, but is not actually a palatable coffee.
The images were taken from a 1940's French science book of botanical illustrations. Brown ink on a cream cotton bandana, 21" x 21"
