Hey Shrub friends, we are curious about how the vac-packs are holding up in shipment. We are especially wondering about large orders and cross country orders. Any feedback would be much appreciated. If there are problems, we want to be sure that we address them straight away. Cheerio - Chris
We've got a few good conversations started on some of the coffees, thanks to everyone who is participating. I'd be really curious to see some comments from anybody who has picked up The Sumatra Blue Batak Tarbarita PB or the Costa Rica Herbazu Red Honey which are some really amazing and unique coffees.
Are you looking for a "ringer" coffee for a Barista Competition, or something unique for your next Barista pajama jammy jam? We've tried many of the Shrub coffees as SO espressos and have published some of our results in our cupping notes. The volume at which Shrub coffees are packaged makes it an appealing and realistic option for finding something for special events. You could get a few coffees and build a feature blend or we also have some Sweet Maria's blends available through Shrub.
It was great cupping through all the lots last weekend in Oakland and getting the chance to have a dialogue about them and experiment with roast levels and SO espresso shots. We really want to encourage people to take part in this discussion in the comments section of each coffee. This is a really interesting opportunity to share cupping notes and whatnot and to promote a collaborative atmosphere with what is happening at the Shrub.
